This local go to place has been recommended by so many friends but I hadn't been in ages. Finally made it over here for happy hour which is 5-7:00. This may be the best happy hour in town for the vintage drink prices! Wine $5, sake $6, sake cocktails $4, beer$3 like the good 'ol days! I had a saketini (sake, ume shu, and lychee liqueur) which was pretty good but next time I'd like to try a cocktail. The Ginger Pork had lots of veges and was pretty good but I really liked the pork lettuce wraps which looked like it didn't have enough pork for the amount of lettuce. But because the pork is so flavorful, you don't need much. It comes with bits of crispy wonton like chips that add a nice little crunch and a vinegar sauce. We were disappointed in the Pumpkin and bacon Sauteed with garlic. The flavors were there with the bacon, but the pumpkin was so tough and a bit dry that we couldn't eat most of it. I appreciated the menus with font I could read without my glasses! Other restaurants take note ! lol Parking is available but a bit odd. Don't go into the lot in the right when you enter. Go straight. Scan QR code and choose 4 hours if you intend to hang out because it's the same price. You must enter your credit card info. Remember to scan a different QR code before leaving and it will validate your paid parking to make it FREE.

GREAT happy hour. I will always get the Steak Diane if I'm here. It's such a good deal for ~20 bucks. Staff is friendly and remembers you. Location can't be beat. Food selection is great. They have bathrooms inside the restaurant and also in the building (if you're in a rush). Hard not to come here.

Chez Kenzo is one of my favorite neighborhood bars to go to for happy hour. Their happy hour is 5 PM to 7 PM with a list of food items priced at $9 a dish. Drink specials are $3 beers, $5 wine and cocktails. You really can't beat these price nowadays. Service is awesome and with smiles. Free parking is available out front.

Fantastic happy hour prices and portions. Wasn't extremely busy at 5:00 but filled up quickly so go early if you can.

What a great happy hour! But parking is a bit complicated...first you scan QR code, pay with credit card then inside the restaurant, you scan another QR code to get the free parking. It works though! Next the food was delicious and service great. The inside was so cold we opted to eat outside. It was great and service was still good! Had to try so many dishes. Favorites were the sizzling omurice, pork kakuni, orushi udon, fish tepura, fried tofu, pumpkin & bacon sautéed in garlic and yaki nigitoro dan. A bit underwhelming were the ginger sabu pork and pork lettace wraps. Would definitely return!

Love coming here for their happy hour! They have such a large variety on their menu too and everything we've had is pretty good. The place gets pretty busy but luckily the times we've went there there was a table that opened up. Some of my favorites include the garlic bread with mushroom cream sauce, Kenzo steak, agedashi tofu and omurice! It's great how you can order a bunch of dishes to try out and share. Service is pretty quick and they checked on us a lot. I highly recommend this place for delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price!

I came here for dinner and didn't have reservations. Good thing we got there early because it got really busy! We were seated at the high tops outside the restaurant. I was starving and went all out and ordered 3 dishes just for myself: Kimchee Hiyayakko (Cold tofu topped with sesame seed oil and kimchee): This was a classic firm tofu and kimchee which was refreshing on a warm day and yummy kimchee. Original Poke (raw ahi with onions tossed in house soy sauce dressing): This was really good with fresh fish and thinly sliced onions which were marinated with the house soy. Crunchy and tasty. Sizzling Pork Katsu omurice (fried rice with pork that was crispy with a gravy): This was my favorite! I love omurice and the scrambled egg was perfectly soft and went well with the bacon flavored gravy. Hello Kitty shot (watermelon, rum, peach schnapps): I ordered this just because....Hello Kitty :) I liked this, even though I don't drink. Service was fast and efficient, sometimes when I'm seated outside I feel left out but the servers asked us regularly if we were good and I appreciated that.

Looking for a spot for dinner and decided to try this place. They have happy hour from 5-7pm so it was a bit crowded and got even more crowded at about 7pm during dinner. We got there at about 6pm. We ordered: 1. Chicken Katsu Curry 2. Goya Champuru (Not much flavor which was a bummer. I needed to add shoyu and the sauce from the ginger pork to give it some flavor) 3. Ginger Pork (full of flavor but it had lots of onions and peppers more than the pork.) 4. Pork Lettuce Wraps (refreshing and tasty) 5. Agedashi Tofu (great flavor) 6. Yaki Negitoro Don (Delish when first served. I suggest eating it right away. It was the first dish that came out so it sat for a bit and we didnt care for it much afterwards.) 7. Garlic Mini French Bread (Yummy! We thought it would have come out first but it came out last. The bread had a crisp and the butter and garlic was delish.) They have a big area inside with many tables for dining and also several tables outside on the lanai. They were really busy but luckily had a table outside which was a bar top style table with high stools. Our main server was very nice and always had a smile. The others that came to deliver the food were also helpful and friendly. I love that the service is consistent. Someone also came around quite frequently to fill drinks. The food overall was good. Some things lacked flavor but others were on point. I would definitely return. They are pretty busy. There were people waiting to be seated from the time we got there until we left. I would suggest coming early. Parking is available in their lot. We didn't have to pay but there was QR code to scan for daily parking. Im not sure if it's free after a certain time.

Came with my fiance on a late sunday night. The store was full but no wait. Parking is not bad because you can get it validated. The interior of the store was kinda dark so it was hard to see. The happy hour menu is nice because stuff is discounted. I saw people liked pasta so I decided to order yuzu pepperoncini pasta with negitoro don side. The food came so fast. I was not expecting that. Both pasta and negitoro don came within probably 10 minutes of waiting for both. I was impressed by the speed. Must be popular items. Well the yuzu pasta was phenomenal- I demolished it so fast. Al dente texture, great flavor (not too citrusy), good spice kick, amazing. I thought it was one of the best pastas I've had. But then the negitoro don came. The negitoro wasn't as moist as I would've liked. The rice was really dry and not that warm. It was cheap though! Happy hour pricing is great. All in all, I think it was a pretty good experience and I'd recommend to stop by. If the negitoro don was also as good as the pasta in quality I would've gladly given a 5* review! But the rice was lacking compared to what my partner got (omurice).
